Baby is bumpin' bumpin'

Happy November! Looks like we are monthly posters. October came and went and I can't believe it's November already. I am excited for the holidays and looking forward to some cooler weather soon, keeping my fingers crossed!
Baby girl is doing well and growing steadily. She's more active and seems to know when Tyler is home. She starts movin' and groovin' when he comes home from a long day at school. I think she is going to be a daddy's girl.
Tyler spends long hours at school studying hard and applying for jobs. I am so proud of him, he is working so hard and doing well in his classes.
Last week we received a calling in our ward, we are ward missionaries! We are pretty excited about it too, there is a lot of work to do in this area and we are happy to take part in it.
Yesterday I decided to make a baby countdown calendar. 15 weeks to go! Yes, it's still a long time, and I am getting anxious to meet our sweet baby. But the calendar is kinda fun, and it's always exciting to cross off another day. :)

It's a summery October

The heat is back on down here in Tucson, hardly fall-like... We had some really nice weather a couple weeks ago but it's been hot and toasty again for the past few days.
Time goes by so fast, I can't believe it's October already! We're behind on our posting... as usual. But not a lot has changed since last post. Baby girl's kicking is getting stronger and stronger each day it seems. She's growing well and very healthy, we were happy to hear at our last appointment that all her measurements are right where they should be. :)
I've grown a little bit since the last time we posted, I've got basketball belly now, it's a lot of fun to finally really look pregnant to the outside world! Woohoo.
Although we seem to be zooming through each month baby's due date still seems a long ways away. We still have 17 weeks to go and we are counting! We are very excited to meet our baby girl. :)

September in the Desert

First off, Mattea is very beautiful pregnant. Baby is growing nicely. Poking out more and more each day. We find out September 28th, on our birthday:), if the baby is a boy or a girl!!

I'm in the middle of the recruiting process with the accounting firms for a job after graduation. Most of the jobs we are applying for are in Phoenix, one in Denver, and maybe some others before it is all done. Hiring is still down in the industry, as is the rest of the world, so we are crossing our fingers.

BYU Football, wow, what a downer. Thats all I've got to say about that.

It's been a long time...

Hello followers... all two of you. It's been a long time, we're still getting used to this blogging thing. But with baby on the way and lots of time on my hands I hope to keep this up.
What's new with us?
Well, we've moved to a hot spot... the beautiful and ridiculously sizzling Tucson. The good news, we won't be baking forever. Tyler graduated with his bachelors in accounting at BYU in May and is now continuing for his masters at the University of Arizona.
As I mentioned, we are also expecting our first baby in February and we are super excited. Our first doctor's appointment is this Wednesday and I can hardly wait. Hopefully we get to see baby!
Well I guess that's all for now, I'm trying to post some pictures of our new apartment but we'll see how it goes...

BYU Basketball

So this is Tyler if you couldn't tell already by the title. I'm sitting in class and the teacher is being non-instructive, so I'm going to do something else. Myself, and by the nature of our marital status, Mattea :) have been following BYU pretty closely this basketball season. We have gone to a number of games and watched most of the important ones. The team has had a few bad breaks, (ASU, UTAH) but for the most part just had a bad spell there of not being able to play the last 2:30 or the game. I think they would only have 1 or 2 losses if they would have kept leads that they had with 2 minutes left in the game. I waited in line for ours to get into the Utah game on Saturday. We got great seats, 14th row, and boy it got LOUD a couple of times, way fun. But I'm excited for the tourney. If they play well for a couple days I think they can easily win a couple. I've never had "my team" go that far. ASU was the family's team growing up. So i just don't want BYU to lose in first round again like they have the last 5 times or something. Fredette is our Hero.
